Didsbury Festival 11th June

The Festival
The Festival runs from 11.00 until about 4.00pm, with tidying up afterwards until maybe 5ish
The Plan
Clare and Jon are supervising all the prep for the Didsbury Festival – the tombola, food and logistics.
Jon reckons when we are up and running we will need:
- 2 people on hot dogs
- 2 on tombola
- 2 on drinks, and
- 1 person in a fetching/ carrying role
So thats about 7 per slot really.
The Rota
To save complication (!), I suggest we organise in 5 approximate overlapping shifts, and I’ve already got many people booked in as below:
- 9.30 – 11.30 :: the set up and first sales… Clare, Jon, Jay, Heather, Keith, Jeff and Maggs( from 10.00)
- 11.00 – 13.00 :: the busy period part 1 … Clare (who will be forced to leave at 11.30!), Jon, Jay, Heather, Keith, Jeff (until 12.00 ish?), Maggs & John, Fiona, David L (from 10.30), Sophie, and Chrissie (from 12.00)
- 13.00 – 14.30 :: the busy period part 2 … Jon, Jay, Heather, Keith, Jessica (dressed as Dalmatian!), Janet Fay, David H, Sophie, and Chrissie
- 14.30 – 16.00 :: the calm at the end of storm … Jon, Jay, Heather, Keith, Janet Fay, Sue Kirk, David H, Alison B
- 16.00 – 17.00 :: tidying up … Jon, Jay, Heather, Keith, Janet Fay, David H
In addition Donna will be in attendance over most of the busy period with a mission to recruit more parents!
The More the Merrier
I wont have got all of these times right I suspect, so if anyone has any corrections can you post them as a comment to the page rather than emailing me. Also, if anyone else can help again, can I suggest you post a comment – I’d say we want people to relieve those doing a full day (Jon, Jeff, Jay etc.) so volunteers required 13.00 – 14.30 ish and onward so we can give them a break.
